Responsible Gaming & Digital Wellbeing

Last updated: 14 October 2026

GameVira is about fun, quick, free gaming sessions. We want playing to stay a positive part of your life, so we encourage everyone to keep a healthy balance.

1. Healthy play habits

  • Take regular breaks — a short pause every hour is a good rule of thumb.
  • Set personal time limits and stick to them.
  • Keep games in balance with sleep, work, study, exercise and time with others.
  • Stop playing if it stops being fun or starts feeling like an obligation.

2. No real-money play

GameVira involves no wagering, gambling or real-money prizes. If you are concerned about gambling behaviour elsewhere, free and confidential support is available from organisations such as GamCare (gamcare.org.uk) and GambleAware (gambleaware.org).

3. Parents and guardians

Accounts are intended for users aged 13 and over (or the applicable digital-consent age). We encourage parents and guardians to take an active role: agree time limits, keep devices in shared spaces for younger players, and talk about healthy gaming habits.

4. Taking a break or stepping away

If you want to step back from the platform, you can delete your account at any time from your Profile — see Account Deletion. Deletion is permanent and removes your access immediately.

5. If gaming feels like a problem

If you feel your gaming — here or anywhere — is affecting your wellbeing, finances or relationships, consider talking to someone. In the UK, the National Gambling Helpline (0808 8020 133) and GamCare offer free, confidential support. Your GP can also help with digital wellbeing concerns.
