This policy explains how GameVira, operated by ARCELLE LIMITED, uses cookies and similar browser storage. The short version: one strictly necessary cookie and one stored preference. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
1. What we use
- Session cookie (
__Host-gamevira_session) — strictly necessary. Created only when you sign in or submit a form, it keeps you signed in and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. It is HTTP-only, uses SameSite=Lax, is sent over HTTPS only on secure connections, and is deleted when you close your browser or sign out. Inactive sessions expire automatically. - Notice preference (browser localStorage) — remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice so it is not shown again. It is stored only in your browser and never sent to our server.
Because the session cookie is strictly necessary to provide the service you request, it does not require consent.
2. What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, social media trackers or fingerprinting. Game thumbnails are served from our own servers. Third-party games you launch are loaded from provider servers; those providers may set their own cookies within the game frame — please refer to the relevant provider's policies.
3. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie prevents sign-in, and the game catalogue requires a signed-in account. Clearing your browser's site data for this website also resets the notice preference.
